Oasis of the Seas
Published Tuesday, November 10th 2009 - Updated Tuesday, November 10th 2009The Oasis of the Seas is quite an amazing ship. This will be the biggest cruise ship ever, at 220,000 tons, accommodating 5400 guests.
There are 7 “neighborhoods” on the ship.
1) Central Park – an elegant & lively piazza which is a gathering space for dining & entertainment during the day and performances in the evening.
2) Royal Promenade – features shops & pubs. It has a levitating bar that ascends & descends over 3 decks.
3) Boardwalk - features an AquaTheater at the bow of the ship with a backdrop of the sea. They can fill or empty the “stage” of water instantly for their water acrobats and high-diving aerial performances. The Boardwalk also has a first time ever Carousel at Sea and offers games, amusement and many attractions. In addition, there is a thrilling experience of a zip-line which runs diagonally across the open air atrium.
4) Pool & Sports Zone – is an entire deck with multiple pools, rock climbing walls, miniature golf, ping pong, FlowRiders (surfing), basketball court, H2O Zone (water-spraying park). There is also a Solarium (adult pool).
5) Spa & Fitness – state of the art equipment. Enjoy a relaxing massage, pamper yourself with spa treatments – take classes in spinning, Pilates, yoga & Kinesis (full body no-impact workout). There’s also a Vitality Café with healthy snacks, juices, smoothies and nutritious entrees.
6) Entertainment Place – here you find a mix of intimate venues offering a variety of entertainment every night. Shows in the main theatre, hot nightclub, jazz, comedy entertainment and Casino Royale.
7) Youth Zone – non-stop activities day & night in dedicated spaces with professional and caring staff for the children.

- Loft suites – multilevel lofts with spacious living area, double height ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows providing breathtaking views.
- Balcony suites – Royal Suite, Presidential Suite, AquaTheatre Suite, Owner’s Suite, Royal Family Suite, Grand Suite, Junior Suite
- Balconies – a) standard balconies looking out to the sea; b) balconies facing inside the ship with a view of Central Park; AquaTheatre; or Boardwalk
- Oceanview – a) standard oceanview staterooms looking out to the sea; b) oceanview facing inside the ship with a view of Central Park, Boardwalk or Promenade
- Inside – ranging from family interior to standard interior
